Looking for the perfect west coast retreat where you and your family or friends
can relax in privacy? We would be pleased to turn the entire lodge over to your
group!
Alert Bay Lodge can accommodate up to 12 people in four bedrooms. Local restaurants are less than two kilometers the lodge, including the local pub which is less than one kilometer away. As well, the Village and its marina are two kilometers away. The lodge parking lot can accommodate up to ten vehicles. Larger vehicles can be parked behind the lodge or on Fir Street, across from the lodge.
Vacation rentals during July and August require a three night/four day minimum.
For all other months, the entire lodge can be rented by the day, week or month.
Our group rates are based on a maximum of eight people per night (based on two
people per room). A surcharge of $25 per person applies for up to 12 guests.
Group rates include a cooked breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be catered, beginning
at $30 per person per day for both meals.

Whale
watching season begins in early June ends in late September. Bear viewing season
begins in May and ends in late October.
The common room of the lodge is also available for private functions. The cost is $125 for groups under 21 people and $200 for groups from 21 to 40 people. Payment is required in advance, including a $200 security deposit.

Group Reservation and Cancellation Policy
A 20% reservation deposit is required to secure the booking.
If a cancellation is made 60 days or more from check-in, the guest will be refunded
the reservation deposit, less a $50 administrative fee. If the reservation is
cancelled between 60 and 31 days from the check-in date, or fails to pay the
balance due, there will be no refund of the deposit. Final payment is due 30
days prior to check-in. If the reservation is cancelled between 30 and 15 days
prior to check-in, 50% of the total rental amount is forfeited. The entire amount
will be forfeited for reservations that cancel 14 days or more prior to check-in.
If the guest rebooks for an equivalent sum within
a six month period of the original rental, the entire amount will be applied
to the new rental, less a 20% administration fee.
We require a $500 security deposit. The deposit is refundable
once we inspect the lodge and everything is deemed to be in order. A $50 cleaning
fee is charged for daily rentals. A $100 cleaning fee is charged on the seventh
day of each week the lodge is rented.
